20 years of Boucheron Quatre

Launched in 2004, the collection Four of Boucheron celebrates 20 years of global success this year. This is an opportunity to look back at its beginnings, combining gold, its developments and its iconic status. A bold stylistic choice from the house, combining three golds: white, yellow, pink and a fourth, chocolate, obtained from a PVD deposit. To this first audacity is added a second, that of assembling different motifs which seem opposed at first glance but which in reality all tell a little of the story of Boucheron.

Its mixtures of materials and textures have propelled the brand to the rank of leader in jewelry.

The pattern in Large grain subtly recalls the roots of Frédéric Boucheron, whose parents were drapers.

The reason Highlight of Paris is very old, dating from the 16th century. It is one of the most commonly used decorations in luxury watchmaking. Boucheron adapted it to jewelry and made it one of its favorite motifs. They evoke the Parisian cobblestones, thus recalling the importance of Boucheron in the history of Parisian jewelry, by being the first to set up on Place Vendôme and to contribute more than any other house to making this emblematic place the world center of luxury and jewelry.

Le Double Godron, a relief ornament, has become an essential element of the home. Some claim that it was created in 1889 by Frédéric Boucheron using a technique called chimney, which allows different gold bangles to be assembled. Its rounded shape evokes eternity.

The Parisian was not necessarily born in Paris, but perhaps one who took refuge there, if only in his imagination. This is what one can feel when observing the golden ring with its Mirror Setting which reflects light brilliantly. Everyone can see the reflections of the landscapes that have marked their secret garden. Ultimately, Quatre is also the jewel of domestic travel.

Boucheron enriches its range with the Quatre collection

On the occasion of its anniversary, Boucheron unveils the sparkling new arrivals of the Quatre collection on March 8, 2024.

A new piece is entering the collection: an imposing ear clip that brings a touch of sparkle to the ear. It is recommended to wear it mismatched with another earring to highlight it more.

This new drop also includes a necklace tie, a pendant, a wide four ring featuring the famous four rings, as well as discreet rose gold hoop earrings enhanced with the brown PVD clou de Paris, an emblematic Boucheron aesthetic element echoing the cobblestones of Place Vendôme.

Each piece offers an innovative interpretation of Quatre's design while preserving its essence, demonstrating the creativity of Boucheron's teams.

All these accessories are part of the classic aesthetic of the Quatre range, taking up the original colors of the Quatre ring from its beginnings. Despite the arrival of the Quatre Red Edition and Quatre Blue Edition versions which have brought new life to this famous collection, it is pleasant to see this return to basics which takes on its full meaning as Quatre celebrates its 20 years of excellence.
