On February 21, 2024, Gazette Drouot orchestrated an exceptional event: the auction of the collection of Raymond and Suzanne Fischof-La Foux. Exhibited to the public, notably at the famous Parisian George V palace where the couple married in 1950, this collection has fascinated art and history lovers.
Two days of intense sales, punctuated by bids from all over the world, led to an extraordinary result: 6 million euros raised. Jewelry, jewels of elegance and refinement, largely contributed to this success, with diamonds sublimely highlighted.

Among the highlights of the sale, a transformable yellow gold necklace reached a record price of €1. This exceptional creation testifies to the talent and creativity of this master jeweler.
The timelessly beautiful necklace consists of a central brooch adorned with three round brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling nearly 39 carats. They are surrounded by a halo of round diamonds and enhanced by two bracelets with plant decoration paved with brilliant-cut diamonds.
