Overview :
Finely detailed vintage insect necklace from the Art Deco era (circa 1920s - 1930s), crafted in 14k yellow gold.
The pear-shaped opal measures 7,5 mm x 58 mm, enhanced with a blue sapphire estimated at 0,10 carat and two cabochon-cut rubies of 0,01 carat. 1mm seed beads are placed in the wings.
The necklace depicts a jeweled insect, with delicate seed beads set into the wings. Attached to an 18 1/2 inch chain, the necklace is ideal worn alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era.
The necklace is in very good original condition. We have not cleaned the necklace in order to preserve the patina and collectible value.
Weight: 4,5 grams
Metal & Hallmark: 14 carat yellow gold. The necklace is not hallmarked although it tested positive for the presence of 14k gold.
