Miniature portrait of Yolande d'Albert de Luynes born in 1870 and died in 1952.
She was the daughter of Charles d'Albert de Luynes and Yolande de la Rochefoucault.
It is presented in a rock crystal medallion.
The back is decorated with crystal ceramic decorated with three flowers.
It surrounded by pearls and topped with a knot set with Rhine stones.
The miniature is signed Cecile Villeuve.
It is annotated on the back Yolande de Luynes, Paris 1872.
Cécile Villeneuve was one of Meuret's best students. She successfully pursues her activity as a painter in Parisian high society.
Villeneuve is considered the most talented miniaturist of the 19th century.
