Opal and diamond cocktail ring made in 900 platinum.
Natural jelly opal cabochon cut, 2,75 carats (11 x 8,5 mm). The opal is in very good condition and free of any cracks or chips (slight surface abrasions from normal wear evident under a 10x magnifying glass). Opal exhibits a strong play of colors ranging from blue to green, turquoise, yellow orange and bits of red. Around the opal are 2 emerald cut diamonds, total weight approx. 0,10ct, GH color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.
Frozen opal glows in natural sunlight, with interchangeable colors as seductive as confetti. Frozen opals have a wonderful watery appearance showing strong flashes of color with each movement of the ring. The cocktail ring is small in size and makes a beautiful statement on the hand. The medium sized ring (9,5mm - 0,37 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We did not clean it in order to preserve the patina.
