The new art : Twentieth century

L'Art Nouveau is a romantic period characterized for jewelry by organic and nature-inspired motifs. The stones used are varied and more original, as well as enamel or glass paste.

Diamonds from this era are rose or old cut, a flatter cut than the brilliant cut. THE Jewelry are made by hand and the stones are cut irregularly. 

Art Deco: 1920 – 1930

L'Art Déco is an artistic movement that emerged between the two world wars. It represents a key period for jewelry and marks a change in society.

This style is characterized by geometric, architectural and refined shapes, as well as the predominant use of white, white or platinum gold.

The Retro Period: 1940-50

We associate the Tank ring with this period. The modern period: 1960-70

The contemporary period: after 1970

The 1970s marked the end of the “Trente Glorieuses” period with its upheavals, which were also reflected in creative trends. The shapes of jewelry are more abstract, the jewelry is quite voluminous and often very colorful and therefore colored stones.
