Citrine, stone of the month for November

Citrine, stone of the month for November

Citrine, a fragment of sunshine on your skin

Like amethyst and rock crystal, citrine belongs to the quartz family. This can be found on the American continent, especially in mines in the United States, Brazil or Bolivia, but also in Madagascar.

Whether it is lemon yellow, pale, orange, cognac, champagne, golden or madeira, this stone would have many virtues. Indeed, it is called stone of the 13rd year of marriage and, as if to shed some light on an often gray month, November's birthstone.

Because of this sometimes orange color, it is sometimes confused with imperial topaz. Easy to maintain, it is better to avoid limescale deposits. Even if it inspires a beautiful sunny day, exposing it to high temperatures may affect it.
