Shrinking a gold ring at a jeweler's is called “cutting”. This is a common intervention in our workshops and different methods can be used: the simplest is to cut the ring (generally at the bottom of the body of the ring) then to resolder it. However, this is not always possible. We can therefore also offer you the installation of a ring "spring", the addition of two adjustment balls inside the ring... The method used depends on the size of the reduction required, but sometimes also the type of ring and its weight.

The difficulties that can be encountered in reducing the size of a ring 

To know: some rings require a lot more work and know-how: for example, a ring encrusted with diamonds like some solitaire engagement rings, a Tank ring whose ring body is very wide and the stone integrated into this ring body, will make the operation much more delicate.

If it is a size adjustment during your order, be aware that the right of withdrawal period is then no longer valid because the ring will have been transformed. On the other hand, we can carry out this resizing in a second step.
