Rolex and Le Bon Marché present the La Lady-Datejust exhibition.

Rolex and Le Bon Marché present the La Lady-Datejust exhibition.

It's the first time that Rolex presents the exhibition La Lady-Datejust in Paris, at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche. This exhibition invites you to discover the remarkable evolution of the Lady-Datejust model, which has been worn by the most inspiring women since 1957. These courageous women have opened new paths and made this watch, both feminine and reliable, the symbol of audacity and exceptionality.

The history of this model

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Rolex has designed and manufactured watches adapted to all female wrists, respecting the same criteria of excellence as for all the brand's emblematic models. If we consider that "classic" means redefining excellence, perpetuating tradition while combining elegance, precision, beauty and performance, then the Lady-Datejust is truly a classic watch designed specifically for women.

Revealed in 1957, the Lady-Datejust has all the characteristics of the Datejust, an emblematic watch of Rolex which established its style and technical performance since its release in 1945. The first female version of this chronometer watch with calendar, the Lady-Datejust perpetuates the elegance of the Datejust in a small case perfectly suited to delicate wrists.

Pioneering women have always played an essential role in the history of Rolex. Since the beginnings of the brand, they have been a source of inspiration for the development and design of watches that have accompanied them in their quest for achievement. The Lady-Datejust celebrates these pioneering women, embodying precision with a combination of classic elegance and technical perfection.
