TANZANITE DIAMONDS RING

An incredible rarity

Tanzanite was discovered in 1954 by a semi-nomadic people of pastoralists and hunters coming mainly between Kenya and Tanzania. Legend has it that the latter discovered the shiny stones on the ground after a fire that would have completely ravaged the savannah. Their shiny effect is due to the heat because, when the tanzanites are heated to more than 500 degrees, they turn blue, whereas they were initially brown in color! Long studied to know their origins, these stones are then sent to the Gemological Institute of America. After some study, they found that this stone was then unknown in this variety of blue. Finally, a few years later, it was the then owner of the house of Tiffany and Co who fell in love with Tanzanite. The only deposit of the stone remains Tanzania, the only mine being with the foot of Kilimanjaro, extends on approximately 20 km2. This stone is therefore one of the rarest and most exclusive in the world.

Regarding its virtues and benefits, tanzanite is a stone that invokes softness and kindness. It is a so-called “self-realization” stone, it brings out the best in us and strengthens the confidence of some. Finally, its value rivals the diamond, the sapphire or the emerald. And this, for several reasons, firstly, it is extremely rare, its brilliance is incredible, it is very coveted in luxury jewelry and is accessible on a unique deposit in the world.
