Chopard's Happy Diamonds collection

Trends 58 Facettes

An the detour of a walk, Ronald Kurowski, designer of the Chopard house, finds himself facing a sparkling waterfall on which reflects the incredible light of day. This is how he came up with the idea of creating the famous Happy Diamonds collection from the house of Chopard.

Renewal for diamonds

The objective of this collection was therefore to free the diamonds from their grids and to leave them free of any movement in the dial of the watch. The difficulty in this project was to find a way to let the diamond circulate without scratching the sapphire or onyx in which the stone evolved. The solution was therefore to integrate each precious stone into a gold capsule whose bottom is bevelled. The diamonds are now totally free in the jewel without any risk of damaging it. The first pieces from the Happy Diamonds collection were created at the end of the 70s. Today, the collection has evolved and remains just as iconic. It now exists in many jewelry categories such as rings like this one, the favorite of 58 facettes thanks to its diamond pavé and this fabulous central stone. Bracelets, earrings like this yellow gold pair or necklaces like the latter in white gold absolutely sublime. Over the years, the Happy Diamonds pieces have developed, giving way to new collections such as the Happy Sport line, Happy Spirit or even Happy Hearts, while retaining its diamond principle.

The Happy Diamonds collection now has a significant place in the world of jewelry and continues to operate around the world. Find our vintage jewelry from the Happy Diamonds collection on our site 58 facettes.
