Regional enamel ring: wedding ring with a pansy motif in 18 karat rose gold (750 thousandths). Five cartouches decorate the ring, with enamelled and chiseled floral motifs. The most important central motif represents 2 thoughts. The last 2 cartridges are partially erased, effect of the wear of time. French regional work (Poitou or Auvergne) from the end of the 19th century.
This jewel is part of the so-called "sentimental" jewels which were jewels that one offered to a loved one: the thought alludes to "I think of you" or "think of me".
