SWIRL SPINDLE
In 18k yellow gold and 925 silver, bezel-set in yellow gold with a star ruby cabochon weighing approximately 3,80 cts, the branches decorated with rose-cut diamonds or old-cut rubies.
Period XIXth century.
Brooch diameter: approx. 3,2 cm.
Weight: 11,6 g (18k – 750/1000 and 925/1000 silver – owl and swan hallmarks).
Condition: Good general condition. No trace of impact on the stone. Ruby cabochon with a six-pointed star, which is rare. Some fine superficial cracks due to the included nature of the stone. Beautiful raspberry red color.
