Exceptional cameo in onyx agate with two contrasting layers representing, engraved in the round, a very pretty bust portrait, in profile to the right, of a lady of the court of the end of the Renaissance, superbly dressed, with her hair and adorned. The engraving is very fine, extremely detailed and responsive. Small chip (invisible to the eye) on the bodice.
The 18k gold setting is both a brooch and a pendant.
