All the jewels offered on 58 Facettes were assessed by professionals in the field. We have in-house experts and gemologists and collaborate with a network of more than 400 partner experts, in France and internationally, to certify the authenticity of each piece of jewelry.

The jewelry available on our platform is systematically appraised and certified, either by our jewelry experts or by one of our professional partners. Capucine Veenendaal, head of our expertise department, is a qualified gemologist from the National Institute of Gemmology and holds the title of “Diamond Grader” at HRD in Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world. She also obtained a Double Degree in Law and Art History, a Master 1 in Art History with a Law option, and a Master II in Art Market at Paris I (Panthéon Sorbonne).

She has also worked for 10 years as an expert in auction houses throughout France.

We carry out careful checks with all our professional sellers before allowing them to sell their jewelry on our platform. We work with professional partners who are rigorously selected and controlled. For private sellers, our team of jewelry experts systematically appraises jewelry in person before it is posted online under the consignment model. As part of direct online marketing, the jewelry is systematically appraised after the sale and before being sent to the end customer.

No worries! It is completely normal that the certificate of expertise is not in the package. It is sent to you by email 24 hours after shipping your jewelry. We recommend that you check your email inbox, including spam or junk folders. If you still can't find the certificate, please feel free to contact our customer service for assistance.

If you have the slightest doubt about the jewelry received, 58 Facettes offers to carry out a second expertise free of charge to ensure its authenticity. Our priority is to guarantee the authenticity of the jewelry and the satisfaction of our customers.

For any purchase on 58 Facettes, you will receive an appraisal certificate with photo within 24 hours after the jewelry is shipped or delivered by hand. This certificate specifies the characteristics of the jewel (gold grading, precious stones, hallmarks, signature

etc.) and the name of the expert who carried out the expertise. Click here to see an example. An invoice detailing the characteristics of the jewelry is also provided.
