The ring, a symbolic gift, carrying meaning and which is passed down from generation to generation, is the most requested and purchased jewel. More than 60% of requests concern a ring, for a first piece of jewelry, an engagement ring, etc.
Necklaces and bracelets
Each representing nearly 15% of sales, The collars et bracelets are often purchased as “statement jewels".
Favorite type of metal
Yellow gold
Data reveals that customers value both all gold jewelry (47% of sales) and jewelry decorated with stones (53%).
The numbers don't lie: yellow gold stands out as an undisputed favorite among jewelry loversFollowed by White gold, which remains the most popular metal for setting solitaires. Rose gold et platinum are a matter of more specific requests. This has not always been the case: 20 years ago, the trend was towards pink gold, even red.

The diamond
One constant remains: the diamond remains the most coveted stone for these exceptional jewels, despite recent market fluctuations, because they rarely affect important stones and the symbolism of this eternal stone retains its strength and appeal.
Colored stones
Sapphires clearly dominate the market, representing 49% of colored gemstone purchases for jewelry. rubies come second, then emeralds complete the trio of the most purchased stones.
